The Bangladesh Young Leaders Delegation to China 2024 visited the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center on the afternoon of June 4, 2024. They explored Shanghai’s urban spirit and master plan, gaining insights into the city from three perspectives: a city of humanity, a city of innovation, and a city of sustainability.
After visiting the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, the delegation took the subway to Lujiazui to experience the city’s development, openness, and vibrancy firsthand. They ascended to the 263-meter-high observation deck of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, where they reveled in the panoramic vistas of the Huangpu River’s bustling banks. Following this, the delegation strolled along Binjiang Avenue, admiring the Bund Architecture Complex across the river, and witnessing the intimate interaction between people and the waterfront, as well as the city’s unique charm.
On the evening of June 7, the weather was pleasantly mild with a clear sky and white clouds drifting in the gentle breeze. The delegation embarked on a cruise tour along the Huangpu River. Enchanted by the dazzling lights on both sides of the river, the members eagerly took out their phones to capture the moment. Then they leaned against the railings, sang loudly, and took photos with Chinese children on board, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and harmony.
