Workshop on: "From Zero to Global Traders - The Practical Path to Export-Import"
October 31, 2026 - The Master of Professional Marketing (MPM) program at the University of Dhaka, in collaboration with the MPM Club and KAI Trade International, successfully hosted a comprehensive workshop titled "From Zero to Global Traders: The Practical Path to Export-Import" held at the Faculty of Business Studies. The event brought together postgraduate students from the 10th to the 15th batches of the MPM program, alongside aspiring entrepreneurs and young business professionals looking to anchor themselves in the global marketplace.

International trade is frequently perceived as a dense maze of bureaucratic regulations, financial risks, and logistics. This collaborative initiative was specifically designed to demystify the entire lifecycle of an export-import business. Moving away from purely conceptual frameworks, the workshop prioritized operational blueprints to transform absolute beginners into confident, market-ready global players.

Industry experts from KAI Trade International led the technical sessions by sharing real-world international trade case studies, Step-by-step navigation of cross-border legal frameworks, Practical strategies tailored to today's volatile global economic landscape, and insights into compliance, documentation, and supply chain logistics.

Speaking at the event, Professor Dr. Samir Kumar Sheel, Coordinator of the Master of Professional Marketing program, expressed his sincere appreciation to Md. Rahadul Islam, Managing Director of KAI Trade International, MPM Club, the organizing students and the dedicated office staff whose combined logistical support ensured the event's seamless execution.

The workshop reflects the University of Dhaka's ongoing commitment to experiential learning—equipping its professional graduates with actionable skills that transcend traditional textbook boundaries. The event concluded a highly interactive Q&A session with a batch photograph followed by interactive dinner.
