ভাষাবিজ্ঞান বিভাগের ২০২৪-২০২৫ শিক্ষাবর্ষের আন্ডারগ্র্যাজুয়েট বিএ (সম্মান) প্রোগ্রামের শিক্ষার্থীদের আজ ০২ জুলাই, ২০২৫ তারিখ ওরিয়েন্টেশন ক্লাস অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। ওরিয়েন্টেশন প্রোগ্রামের অংশ হিসেবে আয়োজিত হচ্ছে ওরিয়েন্টেশন সপ্তাহ। এ সময় বিভাগের শিক্ষকবৃন্দ নবীন শিক্ষার্থীদের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়জীবনের একাডেমিক, প্রশাসনিক ও সামাজিক দিক সম্পর্কে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দিকনির্দেশনা প্রদান করবেন। এছাড়া বিভাগের ইতিহাস, একাডেমিক কাঠামো, কোর্স বিন্যাস, গবেষণার সুযোগ এবং সহপাঠ্যক্রমিক কার্যক্রম সম্পর্কেও আলোচনা করা হবে। ওরিয়েন্টেশন সপ্তাহের এই আয়োজনের মাধ্যমে নবীন শিক্ষার্থীরা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পরিবেশ ও বিভাগের একাডেমিক সংস্কৃতির সঙ্গে পরিচিত হওয়ার সুযোগ পাবেন। ভাষাবিজ্ঞান বিভাগ বিশ্বাস করে, এই উদ্যোগ নবীন শিক্ষার্থীদের উচ্চশিক্ষা ও গবেষণার পথে অনুপ্রাণিত করবে এবং বিভাগের ঐতিহ্য ও উৎকর্ষ রক্ষায় তাদের সক্রিয় ভূমিকা রাখতে উৎসাহিত করবে । (On 2 July 2025, the Department of Linguistics held the orientation class for the undergraduate BA (Honours) students of the 2024–2025 academic year. As part of the orientation programme, the department is organising an Orientation Week. During this period, faculty members will provide the new students with important guidance on the academic, administrative, and social aspects of university life. The programme will also include discussions on the department’s history, academic structure, course organization, research opportunities, and co-curricular activities. Through this initiative, new students will have the opportunity to become acquainted with the university environment and the academic culture of the department. The Department of Linguistics believes that this programme will inspire students in their higher education and research pursuits, while encouraging them to actively contribute to maintaining the department’s tradition of excellence.)
